First ice-skating rink re-opened in Iran after 25yrs

Mr. Nourmohammad's dream of touching the ice again came true
|

|
It's the begining of a movement in Iran to re-taste the magic of ice-skating after a lapse of 25yrs since the revolution. First step was rejoing the ice-skating sport with the federation of winter sports in Iran. Second, re-opening the Azadi Stadium's ice rink after all these years. The blades looked brand new after all these years of being tucked away in the basements. The rink is supposed to be open to public in a month from now. Let us hope that this re-opening gives us all in Iran another shot at this internationally beloved sport.
